Refer paying customers, earn a one-off bounty

For UK personal-finance creators — YouTube, TikTok, newsletters, blogs — whose audience overlaps with our product. The offer is simple, the attribution is freemium-safe, and the partnership is built to be honest.

Annual subscriber
£45
paid once · 30% of £150 gross
Monthly subscriber
£15
paid once · one month’s fee

Paid once, when a person you referred becomes a paying customer. Not recurring — simpler to pitch, predictable to track, and we’ve already collected £150 or £15+ before paying you anything out.

Free-tier signups earn nothing on their own. The bounty triggers when a referred user becomes a paying customer, which thanks to the attribution mechanic below can happen weeks or months after they first signed up free.

The bit that matters: how referrals are tracked

Freemium-safe attribution

Most affiliate programmes use a cookie that expires in 30 or 90 days. That works for “buy now” products and fails for freemium products like ours, where people often sign up free and upgrade months later. We bind the referral to the account at the moment of free signup, not to a browser cookie that expires.

Payouts

What creators get

We can’t offer flat upfront sponsorship fees — this is a referral partnership with a deliberately punchy per-signup bounty instead. The maths works for both sides only if it’s success-based.

House rules

A note on independence

You may have read on our About page that No More Winging It takes no affiliate kickbacks from pension providers, ISA platforms, mortgage brokers or insurers, runs no advertising, and never sells your data. That still holds — this programme doesn’t touch it.

The difference is direction. A provider kickback would mean an outside company paying us to steer you toward their product, which corrupts the guidance. This programme is the reverse: we pay creators a share of our own subscription revenue for introducing new users to us. No outside company pays us, nothing a creator does changes what the product shows you, and No More Winging It doesn’t recommend financial products in the first place — so there’s nothing for a referral to bias. The only thing an affiliate ever earns from is someone choosing to subscribe to us.

Who this is for

Approval is quick for creators in UK personal-finance, FIRE, HENRY and pension-planning niches across YouTube, Substack, podcasts, X and LinkedIn. We’re less likely to be a fit if your audience is primarily focused on US tax / 401(k) / Roth IRA content, basic budgeting for people on tight incomes, or speculative crypto and trading — these aren’t our ICP and the conversion rate won’t justify your time.

Apply

Tell us a bit about your channel. Approval usually within two working days for UK personal-finance creators. Once approved you get a free Pro account and your share URL at /affiliate.

For larger partners

For high-authority partners (e.g. established personal-finance publishers, finance newsletters with five-figure subscriber counts) the standard bounty mechanics still apply, but we’re happy to discuss bespoke rates and arrangements — whether that’s a higher per-conversion bounty for proven volume, a bespoke landing page, or a deeper editorial collaboration. Same email as above.

Nothing on this page is a contract. The full terms apply once an affiliate is onboarded and an agreement is exchanged. The commission structure, attribution mechanics, and house rules described here are the programme as designed; specific per-partner arrangements may vary.
